The workplace training session that we had with Tony / Diversity Scotland was excellent in all aspects - content, delivery, and the creation of safe space for healthy discussion. Tony of Diversity Scotland facilitated a first class workshop to staff and volunteers at our charity SPARK. He shared his vast knowledge on the subject of Diversity, resulting in many participants commenting just how much the session made them think more about the impact of their own language. Encouraged by the format of the workshop, lively discussion took place which further demonstrated Tony's expertise in delivering an informed, impactful session. There were many take aways from the learning, including that passive inclusion is just not enough to make a difference in today's society, conscious inclusion is what is needed, as we all don't start from a level playing field. With this at the forefront of our minds, we can meet people where they are at and fill those gaps of opportunity, to support a fairer, more inclusive society.
